The trip I have been waiting for since I was ten!

When I was little I would imagine living in Ireland for the rest of my life. I saw pictures of cozy homes in green fields, the Quiet Man, horses roaming the countryside, sheep everywhere, and an entire island with not one single snake. This was the land for me. Throughout high school and most of college I had a collage of photos hanging on my wall. This year Steve's mom and grandfather provided a way for us to visit family in Northern Ireland for almost two weeks. We spent a few days in Dublin, but most of the time in Belfast. It was more amazing than I could have imagined. I loved it. We ate great food, reconnected with the Morgan cousins, walked the streets of Belfast for hours, made new friends, visited places I had only imagined, saw where Steve's grandfather was born, and had some of my dreams come true. And I got to share it all with Steve. Check out my pictures - there are more than you will care to look at. Click on the link:

Enjoy. And I hope to have more visits and share more photos with you. We are currently saving for Ireland 2011. A trip with the kids!

Happy 2008

Hello to all of our friends and family. We have completed another year and have been looking back at all of our pictures from 2007. There are so many of them. Thought you might like to take a look at what we have been up to. Check out This is our entire year in pictures... so be prepared for way too many snapshots!

2007 was a year full of changes for us. Victoria, Esther, and Isaac are all in public school now. They love it! New friends and new challenges for all. Steve is happily working for our church and is growing and stretching and never being bored! Lauren is a stay-at-home mom who is never at home! We did not get to go to California for Thanksgiving and are missing our California cousins terribly. (That's why there are no pictures on the beach this year!) But we enjoyed our holidays and even got to visit our Kentucky family!

We are looking forward to seeing how the Lord works in our family in 2008 to make us a little more like Him. We know it will be joyful and hard and amazing and scary . But we are grateful for His mercy and strength shown to us daily. Happy 2008 to your family!
